Les Affutés is a community of people who make things with their hands. A community where we take pride in doing things ourselves. A place where people of all abilities can learn skills, create and repair things. And where you can be accompanied by caring experts to help you get started or progress.

MISSIONS
➤ Bring the place to life and nurture an atmosphere of mutual help and fun.
➤ Help newcomers understand, use and integrate the site.
➤ Publish workshop schedules.
➤ Coordinate purchases and improvements to the venue.
➤ Manage daily routine and objectives independently.
➤ Find solutions to everyday problems.

WHAT KIND OF PROFILE DO YOU NEED?
For us, qualifications are less important than personality. We’re looking for someone with boundless energy and a desire to pass on the values that drive Les Affûtés.

WHICH MEANS
➤ Resourcefulness and a great reserve of energy.
➤ Good organizational skills.
➤ Social ease, to adapt to all users, from children to corporate teams, students, young people, retirees.
➤ A facility with computers, software and internet tools.
➤ A taste for manual skills and a desire to learn.
➤ Fluent English required.
➤ Manual skills in wood/sewing or other areas a plus.
➤ Writing skills in social network management.

What does it mean in practice?

➤ Village workshop, 1385 rue Ontario E
➤ Approximately 30h/week: Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays
➤ Remuneration: fixed + variable
➤ Start date: Beginning of February
