Handcrafted cutlery

We’re looking for a knifemaker trainer with knife-making experience and a desire to share their knowledge.

Responsibilities :
-Organize training courses around skills related to artisan cutlery to enable beginners to create their own knives (grinding, guillochage, tempering, rivet setting, handle trimming…).

Profile required :
-A genuine sense of pedagogy and a taste for sharing with an enthusiastic, curious and varied public, from beginners to amateurs, from teenagers to pensioners.
Professional experience or a great passion for hand-crafted cutlery.

Features :
-On average 1 workshop per week.
-Flexible schedules (most workshops take place in the evening and on weekends).
-Workshops are held at Affûtés Mile-Ex in Montreal.

Salary: $33 to $52 per hour, depending on the number of workshop participants.
