What is the price of a team building activity at Les Affûtés?
Pricing depends on the number of participants, the duration, and the workshop chosen. Weekday sessions (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm) start at $840 (+tax). Evening and weekend sessions start at $1,090 (+tax). A management fee of $45 per workshop applies when booking two or more simultaneous workshops.
Can we privatize the entire Les Affûtés space?
Yes, absolutely. We can privatize our entire space for your event — whether it’s a Christmas party, a full team day, or any other occasion.

How far in advance should we book a corporate workshop?
As early as possible, and it depends on the time of year. October through February is our busiest period, so we recommend booking at least a month ahead. During quieter periods, two weeks is usually enough. The earlier you book, the more flexibility you’ll have when it comes to scheduling and workshop selection.
Can workshops be offered in a bilingual format?
Although most of our artisans are bilingual, the length of the workshops means that we can’t provide all the information in both languages. You must therefore choose a main language.
Do you offer custom private workshops?
Yes! We can adapt some of our existing workshops to better fit your needs — for example, customizing a woodworking workshop for your group. Additional fees may apply depending on the level of customization required.

Do all private workshops have the same capacity?
The maximum capacity of our workshops varies according to location and subject. We can accommodate from 7 to 15 people per group.
Can you rent a meeting room at Les Affûtés?
Yes, we offer equipped meeting room rentals (screen, speaker, coffee) as a complement to our workshops. Our rooms can accommodate up to 15 people. It’s a practical option for teams who want to combine a working session with a team building activity during the same day.

When thoughtfully planned, team building naturally strengthens cohesion, communication and the sense of belonging within a team. Creating something with your hands alongside colleagues, in a setting away from the office, builds shared memories and lasting connections.
When should you organize a team building activity at your company?
There’s no wrong time, but some occasions lend themselves particularly well: welcoming new team members, wrapping up a major project, navigating a period of transition, or simply marking the end of the year. A hands-on workshop is also a great way to break from the day-to-day and recharge as a group.
