Wherever possible, we offer preferential rates for NPOs, associations and charities.

Les Affûtés emerged as a response to planned obsolescence and the buy-it-quickly-throw-it-away culture. It’s essential to change our ways of doing things, we now know this well, and we believe we can make our contribution by helping everyone become more independent and thus better able to make and repair their own objects.

Les Affûtés is a B Corp certified company, the most recognized certification for social and environmental responsibility. We are deeply involved: carbon offsetting, circular economy for our raw materials, local suppliers, etc.

The mission of Les Affûtés is to make manual skills accessible to everyone. We would never mock someone who doesn’t know how to hold a drill. On the contrary, we would be proud to show them how to use it.

How much does a workshop cost ?
The price of a workshop starts at $829 and varies according to the number of people and the time spent. We offer a unique price for each workshop. Contact us for a personalized quote.
Where are we located ?
We are located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We have two locations, one in Mile-Ex and one in the Village. We can also bring certain workshops to your company.
Can I take several identical workshops at the same time?
We only have space and equipment for one workshop at a time, per subject. We can organize several different workshops simultaneously.
Is it possible to follow the workshops in a bilingual version?
Although most of our artisans are bilingual, the length of the workshops means that we can’t provide all the information in both languages. You must therefore choose a main language.
Do all workshops have the same capacity?
The maximum capacity of our workshops varies according to location and subject. We can accommodate from 8 to 10 people per group. Contact us for more details.
