In this 4-hour workshop, Sarah takes us on a journey of discovery into the delicate art of paper! We’ll learn how to make amazingly realistic flowers from crepe paper. This season, the spotlight is on wild roses, and we’ll have the pleasure of working with a selection of papers hand-dyed by our artisan.

Step-by-step, we’ll learn how to cut and shape paper to create flowers true to nature. From stem to leaves to flowers, we’ll create a timeless personalized decoration!

Each participant will create a stem with leaves and 2 to 4 flowers during the workshop, then leave with the materials and skills needed to create another stem at home to add to their bouquet!

The Meat Course is designed to help you master all the techniques involved in cooking with meat and become completely self-sufficient on a daily basis.

In 3 sessions, we’ll discover how to cook different types of meat in a variety of ways, and master the essential recipes and related techniques (knives, cooking, brine, marinades, etc.)

– Day 1: Brine techniques, knife techniques, seasoning, preservation, assembly

– Day 2: Recognizing different cuts of meat, the Maillard reaction, cutting techniques cont’d, ballotine, raw and cooked cooking, seasonings cont’d, marinades

In this 3-hour workshop, Jesse takes us into the delicate world of wool felting, making succulents and cacti that will add color and softness to our daily lives! We’ll discover the different types of wool available, as well as the needle felting technique for creating textured, three-dimensional sculptures. After a practical test, we’ll get to work on our projects, felting wool in several layers!

Everyone will leave with a set of needles and some moss, to complete their collection of little immortal plants.

Would you like to learn the art of ceramic enameling? Would you like to add color and style to your bathroom?

In this 3-hour workshop, Ricardo will introduce us to the basics of ceramic enameling, by creating a set of two personalized soap dishes!

After an introduction to this decorative art, which involves mixing fine powders, mainly silica, and fusing them at high temperature to form a waterproof layer or coating, we’ll discover all the necessary tools. We’ll then learn how to cut and manipulate clay, and move on to the various techniques involved in making it.

Everyone will make a set of two soap dishes, in the colors and textures of their choice! Firing will take place on site, after the workshop, and your projects will be delivered to Les Affûtés Village a few days later.

Are you a chocolate lover who’s always wondered how to make a good viennoiserie? Would you like to enjoy the smell of a fresh croissant in the morning with your tea or coffee?

In this 6-hour workshop with Édouard, we’ll learn how to master the delicious art of viennoiserie. Using our hands and equipped with a rolling pin, we’ll discover all the steps involved in rolling a successful puff pastry. Everyone will leave with 4 croissants, 4 chocolatines, 4 raisin bread and 4 chocolate rolls..

After discussing the importance of choosing the right ingredients, we’ll go into detail on the technical aspects of hand kneading, fermentation and temperature balance. We’ll make croissant dough and crème pâtissière, and learn how to roll croissants by hand.

In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn all the steps involved in making a customizable cell phone case, using leather from the circular economy! We’ll learn a number of basic techniques for creating your first leather project: cutting the material, marking and opening stitches, hand-stitching with waxed thread, and riveting. We’ll also install an adjustable cord, so we can wear our cell phones around the neck or over the shoulder.

You’ll be able to choose from several colors of cord, thread and leather, as well as a suede or smooth exterior.

In this 3h30 workshop, we’ll make a traditional Italian cake with grapes, candied fruit and citrus zest, and we’ll cook a kouglof, another traditional recipe based on brioche dough. Using whisks and pans, we’ll learn fermentation techniques, how to knead with our hands, and the secrets of masterful baking.

After reviewing the necessary ingredients, we’ll learn to understand the textures of a dough and make an orange marmalade to accompany your favorite desserts. Everyone leaves with a panettone, a kouglof and a jar of marmalade.

In this 4-hour workshop, Ricardo will take us through all the steps involved in creating a mosaic, by creating a set of two bookends!

After an introduction to this art form, we’ll take the time to think about the design and choose the colors to create a unique personalized mosaic. We’ll then discover the right tools and how to cut the pieces using pliers. A number of tesserae placement and installation techniques will be covered before moving on to gluing and finalizing the project.

Creativity is more than welcome in this workshop: you can come with a design idea or a drawing!

In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll learn how to make bagel dough by hand and cream cheese. Equipped with basic kitchen utensils, we’ll make plain, sesame or poppy seed bagels, a cream cheese, a cucumber pickel and a chocolate spice spread with coconut milk.

After reviewing the ingredients, we’ll learn how to knead the dough by hand, the brine technique for the condiments and how to assemble the ingredients. Everyone will leave with 4 customizable bagels, a jar of pickle, cream cheese and chocolate spread.
