Would you like to learn embroidery, the ancient art of fabric decoration? Are you looking for a way to personalize your clothes, while giving free rein to your creativity?
This 3-hour workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of embroidery on elastic fabric! By embroidering directly onto a tank top or T-shirt, we’ll learn how to transfer a design onto fabric, then tackle basic embroidery stitches such as: backstitch; stem stitch; passé-plat and knot stitch.
Everyone will be able to choose from a variety of original designs and thread colors, and we’ll all leave with the knowledge we need to make our clothes unique. You can also bring your own drawing (max. size 4×4 in).Don’t forget to bring your own T-shirt!
Skills required: none, apart from a bit of attention to detail and the desire to personalize a garment!
Price includes hoop, needle and thread, plus lots of pro tips and good humor!
