Reviews: Average review: 0 Number of reviews: ( 0) Level: Beginner Category: , ,

Would you like to learn how to carve beautiful solid wood objects, but don’t know how?

In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll make two elegant plant propagators and discover super-practical carving methods with simple tools and machines.

With our workshop leader, you’ll learn how to use a drill press and cut out pieces of wood with a band saw.

Once you’ve cut and drilled the shapes of your two propagators, you’ll practice with the hand drill, on which sanding bits are fitted, to carve more organic shapes. You’ll also use files and wood rasps to soften the shapes to your liking.

Several creative ideas will be proposed, allowing each of you to leave with two unique, personalized propagators, ready to display in your home or give as gifts.

Your two propagators will each come with a test tube in which you can grow green shoots.

Maximum dimensions for a propagator are 8“ x 6”.

Skill requirements: None. This workshop is open to anyone interested in woodworking. If you’ve already taken part in Intronisation 1, this workshop will be a great opportunity to practice with what you’ve seen.
