Do you dream of making a galette des rois that combines tradition and craftsmanship? Would you like to impress your friends and family with homemade desserts?

Over the course of 2 3-hour sessions (plus a 45-minute lunch break between the two sessions), we’ll explore the secrets of the galette des rois by making two emblematic versions: the puff pastry galette topped with almond cream, and the fluffy brioche flavored with candied fruit. Using rolling pins, whisks and bowls, you’ll learn the essential techniques for creating homemade puff pastry, mastering resting times, kneading puff pastry and light, flavourful brioche dough.

After reviewing the necessary ingredients, we’ll work on dough texture, almond cream, galette assembly and baking for a perfect result. Everyone will leave with their own home-made flaky galette des rois and brioche, ready to share with family and friends.

Skills required: none! This workshop is open to all gourmands and the curious.

The price includes all necessary materials, kitchen equipment, raw materials and lots of professional advice.

Note: remember to bring your own lunch, and containers big enough to hold all the galettes you’ve made.
