To celebrate the holiday season, join this one-day baking workshop (including a 45-minute lunch break) and learn how to make three aromatic breads: a fig and rosemary bread, an anise and saffron bread, and a spiced bread.
With just our hands, bowls, flours, and spices, we’ll explore the importance of temperature in baking, the basics of fermentation, and the many shapes bread can take. We’ll dive into the world of flavor pairing using various spices and dried fruits. The day will wrap up with baking all these delicious creations—plus plenty of pro tips to help you perfect each step at home.
Each participant will leave with 2 fig and rosemary breads, 2 anise and saffron breads, 2 spiced breads (small cake-style loaves).
Required skills: None! All aspiring bakers are welcome.
