Have you already used your pasta roller to make fresh pasta but hesitate to stray from your go-to recipe?
Want to level up and refine your techniques while enhancing your basic pasta know-how?
During this 3.5-hour workshop, each participant will prepare two types of dough: one flavored with saffron and the other with squid ink. These will then be combined to create a two-tone pasta dough. Using this dough, we will shape a variety of pasta, including farfalle, cappellitti, and agnolotti. The cappellitti and agnolotti will be filled with a mixture of fresh cheese, cream, and herbs.
You will also learn how to make a perfectly emulsified butter sauce with fresh herbs.
Through hands-on practice—using a pasta machine, rolling pin, and professional techniques—you will learn and master the skills of kneading, laminating, and shaping pasta. At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home a portion of each preparation to enjoy their creations.
Required skills: this workshop requires knowing how to use a fresh pasta roller. We recommend that you have already taken the workshop Making Fresh Pasta – Tagliatelle, Gnocchi, Ravioli or that you have already made pasta with a roller at home.
The price includes all necessary materials, kitchen equipment, quality ingredients, and a great atmosphere!
Notes :
– Don’t forget to bring your own containers to take home the goodies you’ve made.
– Participants will be invited to taste their creations at the end of the workshop, but no meals will be served during the workshop. Please plan to eat before the workshop or bring a snack with you!
