Would you like to get your hands dirty and explore the enchanting flavors of the Middle East in your own kitchen? Are you looking for ideas to prepare tasty, original dishes that will take your loved ones on a journey?
In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll make three Middle Eastern culinary staples: falafels, crispy chickpea or broad bean dumplings; msemen bread, a flaky flatbread typical of the Maghreb; and muhammara, a bell pepper and walnut spread. With mortars, pans and rolling pins, you’ll learn the techniques for mixing, kneading, shaping and mastering cooking to obtain authentic flavors.
After reviewing the essential ingredients, you’ll discover the textures of each preparation, from the flaky dough of msemen to golden falafels. Everyone will leave with their own creations and lots of useful tips.
