Have you always wondered how to make perfect macaron shells? Would you like to impress your family or friends at your next dinner party?
In this 3-hour workshop, we invite you to delve into the sweet art of pastry-making. Using a food processor, we’ll learn macaronage techniques and how to use a pastry bag. We’ll discover three ganache recipes in a variety of flavors: Madagascar vanilla; chocolate; and caramel. We’ll also take a look at the different stages involved in making a successful macaron shell.
Using a whisk and a maryse, we’ll mix, dress and discover the subtleties and stages of baking. We’ll discover all the tricks of the trade for creamy ganaches and smooth, even macaron shells! Each participant will leave with 6 macarons.
Skills required: none! This workshop is open to all gourmets and the curious.
The price includes all necessary materials, kitchen equipment, raw materials and lots of professional advice.
Note: remember to bring your own containers so you can leave with the products you’ve made.
