Would you like to discover the exotic flavors of Thailand and transform your kitchen into a veritable festival of perfumes and spices? Are you looking for ideas for preparing balanced, tasty dishes that will take your loved ones on a journey?
In collaboration with another participant and over the course of this 3h30 workshop, we’ll explore the basics of Thai cuisine by making three must-try recipes: pad thai with shrimp, marinated satay skewers with peanut sauce, and a fresh and spicy green papaya salad. Using knives and pots, we’ll learn how to balance the sweet, salty, sour and spicy flavors characteristic of Thai cuisine.
After reviewing the essential ingredients, we’ll discover the secret of a good marinade, brunoise and julienne cutting techniques, and the blending of flavors. Everyone will leave with their own shrimp pad thai, 3 satay skewers, coconut-mango rice and papaya salad.
Skills required: none! This workshop is open to all gourmets and the curious.
The price includes all necessary materials, kitchen equipment, raw materials and lots of pro tips.
