Making your own leather origami wallet

Would you like to have a beautiful, handcrafted wallet? Has working with leather always fascinated you?

This 3-hour workshop, led by Gianhi, will be a great opportunity to discover this discipline.

You’ll be able to try your hand at working with leather in the following stages:
Discover the different types of leather
Cut the material with an exacto and a template
Handle leatherworking tools
Glue and paste the pattern
Assemble pieces and attach snaps
Finish slices

Each participant can choose from several types and colors of leather. The leather used is vegetable-tanned, which will develop a beautiful patina over time.

The wallet measures 10 cm X 20 cm X 6 mm (3 7/8” x 7 7/8” x 1/4”) and includes 6 compartments for cards and one large compartment for bills, receipts, etc.

Skill requirements: None. This workshop is accessible to everyone.
