Do you express your personality through the jewelry you love to wear? Would you like to learn how to work with silver and create your own one-of-a-kind earrings?
In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll be guided by Louison, a professional jeweler, as you craft your personalized silver wire earrings — shaping, hammering, and texturing them to your taste using techniques from the world of fine jewelry.
You’ll discover tools such as the jeweler’s saw (bocfil), texture hammers and decorative punches, and we will cover the safety concepts that are important to know.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll practice:
- – Choose the shape of the loops using a sketch.
- – Form the loops using half-round and flat pliers.
- – Texturize the loops by choosing your hammer and/or decorative punches.
- – Finish by polishing by hand with the option of oxidation.
You’ll leave with your own pair of handcrafted silver wire earrings — ready to wear or gift to someone special.
No prior experience required. This workshop is open to anyone curious about discovering the world of silver jewelry.
The price includes silver, tool use, and expert advice — as precious as the jewelry itself!
