Do you like dried flowers, and would you like to learn more about stained-glass? Would you like to know more about patinas?
In this 4-hour workshop, Isabelle will guide you in the making of two small decorative medallions in stained-glass.
You will have the opportunity to practice the techniques you learned in your previous initiation course, as well as learn how to insert dried flowers between two layers of glass. You will also learn how to apply a copper and black patina on the solder joints, a crucial step in finishing stained-glass.
You will be able to choose 2 shapes among clear glass bevels, and we will use mirror for the back.
An array of dried flowers and all the tools needed to complete the project will be provided.
-> Please note that these pieces cannot be worn as jewelry, as they are too heavy, and the soldering contains metals unsuitable for jewelry.
-> Required skills: It is important to have already followed at least one stained-glass beginner’s course (here) because due to lack of time we do not repeat the basics of the discipline.
