In this 3-hour workshop, Lou, our passionate photographer, will guide you step by step through the basics of film photography. You’ll learn how to handle a camera, adjust the light and essential settings, and fully experience the creative process.
During the workshop, you will learn how to:
• Handle a film camera
• Adjust settings: ISO, aperture, shutter speed, etc.
• Load and unload film
• Understand film and light
• Discover the chemistry of film (there will be no darkroom development in this workshop)
• Practice shooting
• Analyze and interpret your images
• Acquire tools to progress independently
You will be able to handle the equipment yourself, take your own test shots, and analyze negatives on a light table to better understand your successes and possible adjustments.
Required skills: none! This workshop is designed for curious beginners eager to dive into the fascinating world of film photography.
