Are you fascinated by glasswork and want to learn more about stained glass? Would you like to learn how to create a 3-D glass object?
In this 4-hour workshop, Mathilde will guide you through the correct glass-cutting and soldering techniques to create a colorful, decorative star.
You’ll have the opportunity to practice the techniques you learned in your previous introductory course, as well as learning how to assemble a stained glass volume.
During the workshop, you’ll learn the following techniques:
– Cutting glass safely
– Grinding your pieces
– Cutting and positioning lead rods to the right dimensions
– 3D soldering
– Clean up your project
You’ll be able to choose from our current inventory of glass colors and textures.
Skills required: It’s important to have already taken at least one beginner’s stained glass course (here), as we don’t cover the basics due to lack of time.
