Do you love jewelry, and would you especially like to learn how to make your own textured sterling silver ring?
In this 3.5-hour workshop with Louison, a professional jeweler, you’ll create a customizable textured ring in 925 sterling silver.
You can use the techniques provided during the workshop to texture your ring with a hammer and oxidize it to your liking. At the same time, you’ll learn how to saw, solder, shape, polish and finish silver. You’ll also practice using the foredom and tools such as the bocfil (saw), flashlight, hammers and pliers.
You’ll leave with a unique ring to put on your own or a loved one’s finger, as well as information on suppliers and tips for making and maintaining your jewelry.
Skills required: none. This workshop is open to anyone interested in learning more about working with silver.
