Introduction to mosaic – make a candleholder centerpiece

Would you like to learn the art of mosaic by creating a decorative object? Would you like to invite your parents-in-law to dinner and impress them with a candleholder centerpiece, made by you?

During this 3-hour workshop, Ricardo will guide us through all the necessary steps to create a volume mosaic. After a presentation of this art, we will take the time to think about the design, to choose and arrange the colors to create a unique mosaic. We will then discover the appropriate tools and the cutting of the pieces with pliers. Several techniques for placing and installing the tesserae will be discussed, especially in angles, before moving on to gluing and finalizing the project.

Several centerpiece designs will be offered but creativity is welcome in this workshop! You can come with your own design idea.

Skills required: none, this workshop is open to all candle lovers.
