In this 3-hour workshop with Delphine, our art bookbinder, you’ll learn how to carefully repair the books you love so much, and give them a new lease on life.
After a historical background, you’ll learn the theoretical concepts you need to know to make a diagnosis. Then, using your own books, if appropriate, or “martyred” books as guinea pigs, you’ll learn how to reposition a page, reattach a cover or repair a tear.
Skills required: none, apart from an appetite for good reading!
