Reviews: Average review: 0 Number of reviews: ( 0) Level: Beginner Category: , ,

Would you like to learn the art of ceramic enameling? Would you like to add color and style to your bathroom?

In this 3-hour workshop, Ricardo will introduce us to the basics of ceramic enameling, by creating a set of two personalized soap dishes!

After an introduction to this decorative art, which involves mixing fine powders, mainly silica, and fusing them at high temperature to form a waterproof layer or coating, we’ll discover all the necessary tools. We’ll then learn how to cut and manipulate clay, and move on to the various techniques involved in making it.

Everyone will make a set of two soap dishes, in the colors and textures of their choice! Firing will take place on site, after the workshop, and your projects will be delivered to Les Affûtés Village a few days later.

Skills required: none, apart from a little curiosity.

Price includes all necessary materials, zenitude and lots of advice!

The workshop will be held at the Montréal Tile Lab studio, on Promenade Masson. We’ll let you know the exact address once you’ve registered.
