Are you fascinated by glass work and have stained glass windows always caught your eye? Would you like to learn how to make your first stained glass window?
In this workshop of two 3-hour sessions, Isabelle or Mathilde will guide you in learning the basic techniques of the copper tape method, also known as the Tiffany method. You will create a modern suncatcher and at the end of the class, you will leave with your creation.
You will be able to choose between two patterns (curved or straight). You will be able to choose the colors of your glasses from our inventory available for the class.
During the workshop, you will learn how to use the tools, as well as the basic techniques to :
– Cut glass safely
– Grind your pieces
– Place the copper tape
– Soldering
– Clean up your project
Skills required: none, this workshop is suitable for beginners.
The price includes tools, glass and accessories, as well as good advice from a stained-glass expert.
– Evening course: The June 2nd training sessions will be held on Fridays, June 2 and 9 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This course is suitable for both French and English speakers.
– Evening course: The June 13 training sessions will be held on Tuesdays, June 13 and 20th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This course is suitable for both French and English speakers.
– Day course: The June 23 training sessions will be held on Fridays, June 23 and 30th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. This course is suitable for both French and English speakers.
– Evening course: The June 28th training sessions will be held on Wednesdays, June 28th and July 5th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This course is suitable for French speakers only.
