Introduction training to stained glass: Creating a geometric suncatcher

Reviews: Average review: 4.9 Number of reviews: ( 11) Level: Beginner Category: ,

Are you fascinated by glass work and have stained glass windows always caught your eye? Would you like to learn how to make your first stained glass window?

In this workshop of 2 sessions of 3-hour, Isabelle or Mathilde will guide you in learning the basic techniques of the copper tape method, also known as the Tiffany technique. You will create a modern suncatcher and at the end of the class, you will leave with your creation.

You will be able to choose between two patterns (curved or straight). You will be able to choose the colors of your glasses from our inventory available for the class.

During the workshop, you will learn how to use the tools, as well as the basic techniques to :

– Cut glass safely
– Grind your pieces
– Place the copper tape
– Soldering
– Clean up your project

Skills required: none, this workshop is suitable for beginners.

The price includes tools, glass and accessories, as well as good advice from a stained-glass expert.

This “introduction training” in stained-glass, unlike the longer “introduction course” in stained-glass, is aimed at the curious who wish to discover how stained-glass is made and get a good idea of the production process, without going too deeply into the practical techniques involved.

Super atelier!
