This course is designed to deepen your knowledge of leather goods over 4 sessions. We will make a resistant and elegant leather bag.
In this course, Diana, a leatherworker by profession, will guide us in learning the different techniques and tricks to work with leather.
Day 1: pattern making and cutting exercise
Day 2: cutting the pieces, gluing, marking and opening the stitches
Day 3: hand sewing with the two needle technique
Day 4: finishing and fitting of hardware
There will be a choice of black or brown skin.
Skills required: None, except for enjoying taking the time to work with your hands!
Sessions for the course beginning October 11 will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 18, 25 and 1 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
