Are you counting the days until the eclipse on April 8? Would you like to live this unique experience safely but with maximum enjoyment?
Working together, the wood, renovation, electro, welding and mechanical teams have designed the perfect duo:
– A spacesuit, with a protective visor to avoid burning your eyes, triple-layer insulation to withstand the altitude, and a speaker to play your favorite music.
– An electric jetpack, with a (hoped-for) 60-minute range, and a mid-air stabilization function.
You’ll then be able to take off and orbit within 500 meters of the Earth, to observe the eclipse like no other.
In this 4-hour workshop, you’ll learn :
– suit assembly techniques, inherited from 19th-century explorers
– How to build and orient a jetpack, so you don’t stay upside down the whole time.
– 50+ sun cream application tips
– First-aid courses, just in case
Skills required: none, this workshop is open to all those who want to take to the skies!
