Stained glass – Creating Christmas decorations with the Tiffany technique

Are you fascinated by stained glass? Would you like to learn more about stained glass while decorating your Christmas tree?

In this 3-hour workshop, stained-glass artist Isabelle will guide you through the creation of two to three beautiful ornaments for your Christmas tree. Using the copper ribbon method, also known as the Tiffany method, you’ll put to good use all the notions you learned in your previous introductory course. At the end of the course, you’ll leave with your own creations, created from several patterns provided during the workshop.

During the workshop, we will practice using the tools as well as :
– Cutting the glass
– Grinding your pieces
– Place the copper tape
– Soldering
– Clean up your project
– Polishing the solder joints

You’ll be able to choose from our current inventory of glass colors and textures.

Skills required: It’s important to have already taken at least one beginner’s stained glass course (here), as we don’t cover the basics due to lack of time.

The price includes tools, glass and accessories, as well as great advice from an expert stained glass artist.
