Reviews: Average review: 0 Number of reviews: ( 0) Level: Beginner Category: , ,

Do you love nature and its colors? Would you like to be able to capture the natural pigments of plants and immortalize them by making vegetable dyes?

In this 3-hour workshop, Audrey takes us on a journey of discovery into plant dyeing methods! Nature does things so well that it offers us an array of incredible colors… So how do we transform and use them?

We’ll cover everything you need to know about dyeing fabrics with dye plants: which fabric to choose? How to prepare it? Which plant for which result? We’ll discover all the necessary steps, through the creation of a color chart: mordanting the fabric; preparing the pigments; dyeing the fabric; and color modifiers. We’ll also learn how to tie a few knots to create Shibori patterns!

Everyone will leave with a color chart of 18 color samples (6 pigments, on 3 types of fabric), which will guide us in our future projects!

The price includes all necessary materials, valuable advice and a great way to tame the fragments of nature’s treasures.
