Do you love making stained glass, but your windows are already overflowing with it? Do your plants need a bit of cheerful company—but definitely not live insects?
In this 4hour workshop, Isabelle, our professional stained glass artist, will guide us in creating her beautiful colorful “little critter” using stained glass techniques. We’ll work with brass rod, copper wire, and glass, going through every step—from cutting and grinding to soldering and finishing. A selection of creatures will be available, so you can choose your favorite from a dragonfly, earthworm, butterfly, and a few others.
You’ll head home with your lovely creation, measuring approximately 3.5 to 7inches, along with a 9-inch brass rod.
This way, you can display your new decoration in a plant or use it to support a rebellious branch—but it would look just as delightful in a cheerful bouquet of flowers.
Required skills: Intermediate level experience with stained glass making. To participate in this workshop, since the basics will not be reviewed, you must have already completed the Introduction training to stained glass or the Introduction course to stained glass. These provide the prerequisites.
The workshop includes materials, glass, patterns, expert guidance—and not a single mosquito bite!
