How to make your tailor-fitted bamboo bike

Want to take it to the next level with a unique and exotic bike? Have you always wondered if it’s possible to build your own bike from scratch?

At the end of this bike tour, you’ll leave with your custom bamboo fixie/single speed, which you’ll have built yourself, from design to assembly!

During the 6 sessions of 3 hours in the company of a bike specialist and designer, we will discover:
– The work of the bamboo stems (cutting, sanding…) according to your size
– The work of flax and carbon fibers (composite with epoxy) to bind the bamboos.
– How to finish the frame
– The assembly of the EVERYTHING

Required skills: curiosity and passion for cycling.

The price includes all components and tips on how to get off the bike!
(bamboo, fibers, epoxy glue, wheels, inner tubes, tires, saddle, seatpost, clamp, stem, handlebars, handlebar, fork, front/rear brake levers, front/rear calipers, cables, sheaths, bottom bracket, crankset, chain, reflectors…). The precise list of components is in pictures below.

Note: the workshop will take place at Les Affûtés Village (Ontario Street) – Wednesdays, February 10th, 17th, 24th and March 03rd, 10th and 17th at 6:00 pm.
