Do you love to go camping but can’t stand sacrificing the quality of your meals? Would you like to impress everyone on the campsite by serving up a stack of pancakes for breakfast? Or perhaps you just want to try some new camping recipes on your next camping trip?
During this 6-hour training (consisting of 2 sessions of 3 hours each), Mikaël, our workshop leader and outdoor enthusiast, will guide you in the creation of a wooden camping kitchenette aka a chuck box. This amazingly compact box, which can hold a stove and various cooking utensils, can easily be moved from the trunk of a car to a canoe, or to the park, to prepare delicious outdoor feasts!
You’ll learn the basics of woodworking by using the table saw to cut the pieces ; the drill and screw machine to attach the hinges, handles and latches ; the pneumatic nailer to assemble the box ; and the sander to finish it off.
Kitchenette dimensions: 16 x 14 x 14 inches
Skills required: none, except a passion for camping and eating!
The price of this workshop includes all the necessary materials and expert advice (in woodworking, not in cooking).
The July 14 training sessions will be held on the same day, at the same time, on two consecutive weeks.
