In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll take a closer look at diagnostics, and you’ll learn how to assemble a small electronic circuit by soldering with tin. You’ll become an even better troubleshooter!

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • – Part 1: Introduction to soldering. You’ll learn about safety, then assemble a small electronic circuit using a soldering iron. You’ll also learn how to desolder.
  • – Part 2: Repairing an electrical device. After experimenting with working on an electronic circuit board, you’ll dismantle a faulty small household appliance and, using a multimeter and the techniques learned in the Level 1 workshop, identify the cause(s) of the problem. You can then propose a solution to repair the appliance.

Skills required: Completion of Repairing Small Appliances like a pro – Level 1 (See here).

The cost of the workshop includes all materials, lots of advice and perhaps the pride of having brought a small appliance back to life!
