If you’re looking for a hands-on experience that’s as rewarding as it is fun, the tile class at Les Affûtés is a must or any other class for that matter. The highlight is undoubtedly the instructor, Cedric. He is an extraordinary person—knowledgeable and genuinely people-oriented. His welcoming energy makes the learning process a total joy, regardless of your skill level. I highly recommend any session led by him!
Omg I love this place and I am so happy I found them!!! I want to take all their classes. I took their tiling class for the first time this Monday and I felt so proud of the little thing I did in such short time. That’s also the good part for me – the workshops are short and sweet and get to the point….you don’t have to be dragged on through endless classes and studies just to get precisely the skill you need. I am so happy they exist. I’ve written down the list of workshops my husband and I will be taking over the next few weeks so that we are able to renovate our home ourselves. Their mission is to give back autonomy and I could not be more aligned with that spirit. Our teacher was Cedrik and he was lovely, bilingual, kind and fun. You can also rent their woodworking space/workshop if you need (after taking a course learning to use the tools). I look forward to more!!
J’ai appris ce dont j’avais besoin pour me sentir plus en confiance à l’idée de refaire la céramique de ma salle de bains d’invités.
Learning the tools and techniques needed to redo my tile back-splash renovation, hands-on experience a lot better than video or books.
La bonne humeur du professeur et des autres participants, les explications pragmatiques, personnalisées et claires, les « recettes » pour ne pas payer trop cher ou se mettre une pression inutile.
