Would you like to develop your sewing skills and create a comfortable sportswear ensemble? Are you looking for a good reason to get back into sports?

In this 6 hour class (2 sessions of 3 hours), Adam will walk us through all the steps to make a two piece sportswear set! We will start by making a tank with integrated support for the top. Then, everyone will have the choice between leggings or shorts for the bottom.

First, we will learn the basics of sewing and how to use the sewing machine. Then, we will discover all the basics of sewing by practicing on stretchy materials: reading and adjusting a pattern, cutting and assembling pieces, putting an elastic and hemming.

Session 1 – Making the top: the tank

Techniques: curved seams, assembly, lined straps, elastic support.

Session 2 – Making the bottom: leggings or shorts

Techniques for leggings: straight seams, assembly, adjustment, elastic at the waist.

Shorts technique: straight seams, assembly, pockets and making a runner.

Each participant will have the choice of several colors to make their own ensemble.

Skills required: none, this workshop is open to all sportsmen and women (or not).

The price includes all necessary materials and lots of professional advice!

NB: The workshop time is indicative, and it may take longer for some participants. We therefore recommend that you don’t schedule an appointment right after!
