Introduction to mosaic – Create a flower pot

Would you like to learn the art of mosaic while making a useful object? Do you want to brighten up your home by adding color?

During this 3-hour workshop, Ricardo, a professional mosaicist, will guide you through all the steps necessary to create a personalized flowerpot! After a presentation of this art and the necessary tools, you will discover the basic techniques of mosaic cutting and the placement of the tesserae directly on a vertical base with cement glue.

After selecting colors from a wide range of choices and choosing a design, we’ll move on to cutting and applying the mosaic pieces directly to a clay pot to decorate it in a unique way. We will use cement glue to fix and grout to make a nice finish.

Creativity is a must in this workshop! Don’t hesitate to come up with a design idea or a drawing.
