Do you want to discover metal work in depth, by making a vintage lamp with an industrial style? Want to light up your autumn and winter evenings with a warm light?
This 2 session course will allow you to learn all the fundamentals of MIG welding and to practice extensively:
– The theory and practice of welding
– Understanding the physics (distortion, temperature….)
– Brushing the metal
– Finishing grinding
After this course, you can light up your reading evenings with a brushed finish lamp you make yourself (dimensions 12″ by 8″ by 6″).
Skills required: none, this workshop is open to anyone who is curious!
The workshop includes all plans, materials, as well as safety equipment and sparks by the thousands.
The metal lamp training sessions starting on Friday June 16 will take place on Fridays June 16 and 23 from 2pm to 6pm at Garage des Affutés.
