Would you like to discover woodturning? Would you like to deepen your manual skills by making a practical and original object that will warm up the atmosphere of your candlelit dinners?

In this 4-hour workshop, we will learn the basics of woodturning by making two unique and durable candleholders that will light up your home! We will be introduced to the wood lathe and associated tools. We will then learn the fundamentals of woodturning and the different techniques of this discipline: drawing, use of roughing and profiling gouges, tracing, profiling, understanding sanding and preparing the piece for finishing.

Everyone will have the choice of two wood species and several designs to make a personalized pair of candle holders.

Skills required: none, everyone is welcome.

Price includes all necessary materials, professional advice and lots of chips!
