In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll cover the fundamentals of woodturning and create a solid wood ballpoint pen, a unique and personalized object! Pen making is ideal for those who want to create fine, delicate projects.

First, we’ll discover the wood lathe, its functions and the tools associated with the project. We’ll then look at the various basic turning techniques and the different stages involved in making the object: choice of wood and pen kit; preparation of squares; installation of the pen chuck; use of roughing and profiling gouges, assembly of parts and oil finishing.

Skills required: a little patience, attention to detail and delicacy!

Price includes all materials required, plus advice and lots of wood chips!
