Introduction to woodturning – making a cocktail pestle

Do you want to discover wood lathing? You want to make a useful object that will accompany you during your aperitifs?

During this 3.5-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of wood lathing by making your own cocktail pestle (hello mojitos and caipirinhas)! Chloé, cabinetmaker and passionate woodturner, will teach you how to make a cocktail pestle. We will learn the fundamentals of this activity, the associated tools, the different techniques, and then the ABCs of between-point turning: drawing, roughing, tracing, profiling and sandblasting.

Required skills: zero, except for a little patience!

The price includes all the necessary equipment and valuable advice (on woodturning, not cocktail design)!
