Introduction to woodturning – making a cocktail pestle

Reviews: Average review: 5 Number of reviews: (2) Level: Beginner Category: , ,

Do you want to discover wood lathing? Would you like to make a useful object that will accompany you during your aperitifs?

During this 3.5-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of wood lathing by making your own cocktail pestle (hello mojitos and caipirinhas)! Chloé, a cabinetmaker and passionate woodturner, will teach you how to make a cocktail pestle. We will learn the fundamentals of this activity, the associated tools, the different techniques, and then the ABCs of between-point turning: drawing, roughing, tracing, profiling and sandblasting.

Required skills: zero, except for a little patience!

The price includes all the necessary equipment and valuable advice (on woodturning, not cocktail design)!
