Do you want to invest your time in doing something for a good cause, while learning to work with wood? Do you want to combine generosity, sharing, and fun?
The Collectif Bienvenue is an organization whose main mission is to mobilize the local Montreal community to bring immediate help to the city’s most at-risk asylum seekers.
On Friday, October 22nd, we are organizing a one-day charity marathon at Les Affûtés to make wooden kitchen utensils that will be donated to new refugee families in Montreal!
How does it work?
Sessions of 1h30 will be scheduled throughout the day, in the form of a relay, to participate in the making of cutting boards, spatulas, salt and pepper shakers, and trivets.
Les Affûtés will offer everything: the accompaniment of our workshop leaders, the materials, the time and use of the machines. All you have to do is come with your energy, closed shoes, and your best smile under your mask!
Skills required: none, everyone is welcome!
Free event!
All you have to do is choose the time and place that suits you best!
Are you a past maker? Tell us what you thought of your experience.
