Make a solid wood knife holder

Do you have a collection of good kitchen knives that you would like to show off? Do you want to learn how to work with solid wood to create a useful object for everyday use?

During this 3-hour workshop, Guillaume, a cabinetmaker, will guide you in the design of a personalized solid wood knife holder.
You will learn different woodworking techniques such as: cutting with the miter saw; planing with the planer; drilling with the drill press and the hand drill: finishing with the sanders.

Each participant will be able to make a wall-mounted knife block. Several types of wood will be proposed, you can pick the one you like the best. The maximum dimensions proposed will be 12 inches long and 8 inches wide. A natural oil finish will be available at the end of the course.

Skills required: A love of cooking and a love of wood 🙂
