This wood course is ideal to deepen your knowledge of woodworking. Over the course of 4 sessions, you will learn how to make a small bench that can also be used as shoe storage.
In this woodworking course, you will learn different techniques and tricks to work with solid wood. For the purpose of this workshop, we will use ash (local wood from Montreal). For the more adventurous, it will also be possible to make light details in walnut.
During the course, you will learn how to use the following machines: mitre saw, bench saw, planer and jointer.
Day 1: Basic training of the machines
Day 2: Cutting plan and gluing
Day 3: Cutting the parts
Day 4: Assembly and finishing
This course also gives you access to 4 hours of independent workshop time, to work on your project in between sessions.
