Woodworking Course – Level I

The woodworking course was created to help you deepen your knowledge. In this 6 session course, you will carry out a complex project, and discover everything to become autonomous.

In Level I, you will learn about all the machines and then make a stool/stepladder.

  • Course 1: Planer, jointer, bench saw
  • Course 2: Mitre saw, scroll saw, band saw, drill press
  • Course 3: Gluing techniques
  • Course 4: Wood and its applied technical properties
  • Course 5: The art of finishing, products, and techniques
  • Course 6: Continuation of the projects of the course and individual support

In addition to the 6 sessions, the Wood Course gives you free access to 12 hours of workshop time, to work on your project between sessions.

The evening sessions are held once a week, over 6 consecutive weeks – on the same day at the same time.

Sessions for the course starting on January 4 at Village will be held on Wednesday : January 4, January 11, January 18,  February 1, February 8 and February 15 from 6 pm. to 9 pm. 

Sessions for the course starting on January 8 at the Petite Italie will be held with one week break between them, every Sundays: January 8, January 22 and February 5 from 10 am to 5 pm. (Don’t forget your lunch!)

Sessions for the course starting on January 10 at the Petite Italie will be held on Tuesdays: January 10, January 17, January 24, January 31, February 7 and February 14 from 6 pm. to 9 pm. 

Sessions for the course starting on February 19th at the Petite Italie will be held with one week break between them, every Sundays: February 19 and 5 and March 19 from 10 am to 6 pm. (Don’t forget your lunch!)

Sessions for the course starting on February 21st at the Petite Italie will be held on Tuesdays: February 21 and 28 and March 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 6 pm. to 9 pm. 

Sessions for the course starting on Wednesday, February 22 at the Village, will be held on Wednesdays, February 22, March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22 and March 29 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Excellente entreprise. J’ai suivi le parcours bois 1 et j’ai vraiment aimé. Le cours est très bien structuré et couvre plusieurs sujets. Le formateur est très connaissant, répète les explications avec un sourire et adapte le cours adéquatement selon la vitesse du groupe. Je recommande fortement!

La connaissance de PV est impressionnante, le niveau de détail est excellent – par exemple, je ne m’attendais pas à parler des causes du comportement du bois brut, et j’ai beaucoup apprécié.
