A version of the Agreement is available in French. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the French version shall prevail over the English version.
A – GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
This agreement (hereinafter, the “Agreement”) sets out the terms and conditions applicable to the purchase of services offered by Les Affûtés, namely workshops on the use and instruction of tools and equipment. Les Affûtés is the trade name used by the corporation Les affûtés inc., whose business locations are 6540 Waverly Street, Montreal (Quebec) H2V 4M3 and 1385 Ontario E Street, Montreal (Quebec), H2L 1S1, and whose phone number is 514-750-7252 (hereinafter, “Les Affûtés”).
Les Affûtés reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
By using the Les Affûtés website, www.les-affutes.ca and all of its pages (hereinafter, the “Site”), to purchase services such as training workshops or gift cards, you agree to these general terms and conditions of sale and agree to be bound by them. By proceeding with a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
I: AUTHORIZATION TO USE ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS
You hereby authorize the exchange of documents and information between you and Les Affûtés. When you fill out the registration form, contact form, or make an online purchase, you consent to Les Affûtés using your information to contact you and to store it in our system for future use in accordance with this Agreement.
II : SERVICE
Les Affûtés provides an online platform through the Site that allows users to purchase individual or group training workshops and gift cards to be used towards the purchase of such workshops (hereinafter, the “Services”).
III: OTHER DOCUMENTS, AGREEMENTS AND POLICIES
Use of the platform and participation in Les Affûtés activities are governed by this Agreement as well as any other terms of use that may be presented at Les Affûtés workshop locations.
Access to the Services is conditional upon the user signing the site usage rules and risk acknowledgment waiver prior to the activity. The waiver is available at the following link:

IV: REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
To benefit from Les Affûtés Services, you must register on the platform using the registration form and pay by credit card, thereby opening an account. You may also register by calling Les Affûtés and providing payment information over the phone, or by visiting one of Les Affûtés’ business locations in person.
You will receive a purchase confirmation email from Les Affûtés. Once the Services are purchased, the user must reserve their spot on the Site or by phone, depending on availability.
Advertised prices do not include sales taxes (GST and QST) and are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). Full payment of purchased Services must be completed before booking and using the Services.
When submitting your information on the Site to purchase Services, you agree to provide truthful and up-to-date information and to promptly update it if necessary to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
V : CANCELLATION AND REFUND
Les Affûtés reserves the right to limit quantities, refuse, or cancel an order, including after a confirmation email has been sent and even if your payment has been processed. If your order is canceled after payment has been processed, Les Affûtés will issue a full refund.

VI: MINORS
Only users aged 18 and older or those legally capable of entering into binding contracts may use Les Affûtés Services. Minors may only use Les Affûtés under the supervision of a parent or guardian and may have their access restricted or denied at Les Affûtés locations.
VII: APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
Les Affûtés is based in Montreal. This Agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
VIII: ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement.
IX: APPLICATION
You are bound by this Agreement and acknowledge that you are aware of your rights and obligations.
X: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content provided during the workshops (plans, videos, documents, tools, etc.) is protected by copyright and is the exclusive property of Les Affûtés. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without written permission is strictly prohibited.
B – CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE DES AFFÛTÉS WEBSITE
I : GENERAL CONDITIONS
The user acknowledges and agrees that Les Affûtés reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to modify, change, or update this Agreement. The user’s continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes agreement to the modified terms of use. We strongly recommend that you review these terms of use regularly. If the user does not accept the current or updated terms of use or the privacy policy, they must not use the platform and should exit the website www.les-affutes.ca and delete cookies and browser history.
By visiting the Site, you will be informed of the use of cookies via a pop-up window, in accordance with applicable laws.
II: DISCLAIMER, EXCLUSION OF WARRANTY AND INDEMNIFICATION
Les Affûtés does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, quality, relevance, or content of the information on the Site. This information is provided “as is,” without any express or implied warranties, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
All information provided in blogs, videos, or other communication tools on the Site is intended for educational and general purposes only. For learning-related advice or consultation, please contact a member of the Les Affûtés team.
Les Affûtés shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any other damages whatsoever, including loss of income, profits, or anticipated economic benefits resulting from the use or inability to use the platform, information, documents, and software contained therein, even if Les Affûtés has been advised of the possibility of such damages or if such damages are reasonably foreseeable.
As a user, you agree to indemnify Les Affûtés and hold it harmless from any claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform or your violation of these terms of use. Les Affûtés also reserves the right to discontinue Services if you violate these terms.
You may not use or export any information, or any copy or adaptation of such information, in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

Personal data is collected when you purchase a Service or contact us regarding our Services.
