Are you a plant lover whose apartment looks like a nursery? Would you like to extend your perimeter outwards and green up your balcony?
In this 3-hour workshop, Carolyne, a passionate horticulturist, will take us into the world of gardening and help us create a personalized ecosystem, adapted to our balcony! First, we’ll learn how to choose the right plants according to your needs and environment: hardiness zone; sunlight; available space; ornamental, edible, melliferous,perennial or annual plants…
We’ll then discuss plant design, in order to clearly define the space allocated to plants and their balance, but also with the aim of creating a pleasant intimate zone in a green setting! Finally, we’ll take a look at the various stages of planter composition and maintenance, and practice by making an edible herb and flower planter that everyone can take home!
Skills required: none, everyone is welcome!
