Would you like to start knitting and create a timeless and personalized accessory? Are you wondering if you can use something other than wool to knit?
During this 8-hr course (4 sessions of 2 hours each), Clara, the head knitter, will introduce us to the basic knitting techniques and guide us in the creation of a cotton shawl! This foam stitch accessory is ideal for beginners and allows you to discover that knitting can also be done with cotton and worn in all seasons.
You will learn how to: set up the stitches ; make stitches right side up to bring out the colors ; make increases and decreases to obtain the triangular shape ; make throws to open up the edges of the shawl ; and many other techniques and tricks!
Each person will have the choice of several colors to make a unique two-tone shawl.
Skills required: none, everyone is welcome, even beginners.
The price includes all necessary materials and Clara’s good mood!
The training sessions will take place on Fridays April 21 and 28, May 05 and 12 – from 6 to 8 pm.
