Would you like to learn how to sew or perfect your skills on a sewing machine? Would you like to add some style to your costumes?
This 4-hour workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of sewing by making a cape, a timeless coat with a hood. We’ll learn how to thread a sewing machine; make straight seams on a semi-extensible material; build and assemble a lined hood; install a fastener; and hem and finish.
Everyone will leave with a flowing, comfortable cape that fits like a glove, for Halloween, live action role-playing game or everyday use!
Skills required: none, all cape enthusiasts are welcome!
Price includes all materials and Cécile’s expert advice.
NB: Workshop time is indicative, and may take longer for some participants. We therefore recommend that you don’t schedule an appointment right afterwards!
