Are you a foodie who’s always wanted to know all about beef? Want to impress your friends at your next BBQ?

In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll dive into the world of beef. Using simple kitchen utensils, we’ll learn how to prepare a beef tartare, as well as master cutting techniques and pan-frying like a chef!

We’ll see how to recognize the different parts and pieces of this meat, the secret of the Maillard reaction and the internal cooking temperatures to obtain perfectly cooked pieces every time. We’ll arm ourselves with sharp knives and explore the different techniques for preparing and cooking beef like a pro.

Skills required: none! This workshop is open to all carnivores!

The price includes all necessary materials, kitchen equipment and guaranteed fresh meat!

Cooking workshops are held in the kitchen of the Centre de Ressources et d’Action Communautaire de la Petite-Patrie (CRACPP), at the corner of Drolet and Bélanger. We’ll let you know the exact address once you’ve registered.

Note: remember to bring your own containers so you can take home the products you’ve made.
