Would you like to learn woodworking and create a fun object to enjoy the beautiful days? Do you dream of taming the wind by making the perfect boomerang?
During this 3-hour workshop, you will discover all the steps involved in making a boomerang. From the initial design to the aerodynamic shaping of the wings, everyone will be able to design two custom boomerangs! You will learn how to use a template to trace; the band saw to cut; the router to shape the wing profiles; and several different sanders (disc, drum and orbital) to adjust the tilt. We’ll also discuss tips and tricks to keep your boomerangs coming back with every throw!
Everyone will have a choice of shapes to make unique objects.
Skills required: none, anyone who likes to throw sticks is welcome!
